This was a special order for a special birthday boy. When I was first asked to make an XBOX360 cake I thought to myself... What's an XBOX? (just another reminder I'm getting old lol). Anyway needless to say some research was in order. I got every picture off the internet, watched You Tube videos and tried to get a clear idea of what this game box looked like from every angle. Making a reality cake is always a challenge but there is such a sense of accomplishment when it is done and it comes out looking just like the real thing. The biggest challenge was actually the head piece. Making one that wouldn't break was harder than I thought, but in the end it worked out beautifully.

The headset was made out of gum paste, and the game control was a small cake covered with fondant...I thought this would be the perfect "slice" of cake for the birthday boy  :-)

Underneath the sleek exterior was a delicious Hershey's Chocolate cake with Chocolate cream filling, yummmm.

What a cool way to celebrate Keyshaun 9th Birthday and to let him know just how special he really is!

Shirley,
I have to say thank you once again, the cake was fab, and it brought tears to my baby boy's eyes. All of the kids and guest were truly amazed by your work of art. Your work was fast, and your service was great. I am truly glad I found you and you made my son's birthday one of the happiest days in his life. He has already asked me what will the cake lady make for him next year. Can't wait to put my baby shower cake together, you're number ONE in my book :-)..... again thank you so very much for everything.
